overcoming holiday challenges

Enjoy your holidays while eating healthy

a holiday message from Dr. Gary Foster

We all know that the holidays are a time for celebration. They are a time for creating memories and taking part in traditions with your family and friends.

Many of these celebrations include the sharing of gifts, including food. However, you should realize that food is not necessarily the most significant part of the holidays. The times you spend with family and friends are the most meaningful moments of the holidays.

During this time it’s important to stay aware of the triggers to overeat that surround you, and to recognize your healthier options. Avoiding reliance on holiday comfort foods will in turn let you focus more on the celebration and company of your loved ones. Learning to do this will help you stay committed to alli and have a happy, healthy lifestyle for both this holiday season and the ones in the future.
